THAT, Council authorize the Reeve and CAO to engage in negotiations with LiveBarn Inc. for an agreement to install cameras for live streaming purposes at the Lanark & District Community Centre; AND THAT , any revenues generated from LiveBarn subscriptions be used to decrease the arena’s annual deficit, and any profit generated by the arena be placed into the arena reserve.

THAT, Council approve the application for long-term debt from Infrastructure Ontario, fixing the rates at 4.79% for 20 years and 4.19% for 10 years for the Sheridan Rapids Bridges and Fire Trucks, respectively; AND THAT, Council approve by-laws 2026-2036 and 2026-2037 to authorize the submission of the loan applications to Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (Infrastructure Ontario) at the regular council meeting of 26 May 2026 to secure the fixed interest rates and long-term debt.

THAT , Council adopt Staff report FIN-2026-54 as required by the Municipal Act, 2001 and O. Reg. 284/09 as presented.

THAT, Council authorize staff to serve as Community Leaders within the Lanark County Business Retention and Expansion Program, to participate in training, facilitate local structured business interviews, and coordinate local community participants from June 2026 to February 2027, at the discretion of the CAO.
