THAT, the agenda be adopted as presented.

THAT , the delegation dated August 12th 2025, be received as information.

THAT, Council direct staff to bring forward a report on By-law No. 2000-113, Being a By-law to Prohibit or Regulate Noise, for Council’s consideration.

THAT, the communications dated August 12th, 2025 be received as information.

THAT , the Township of Lanark Highlands Council approve the addition of Frank Sodonis as a member of the Recreation Advisory Committee for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council. AND FURTHER THAT, staff be directed to review the Committee’s Terms of Reference with its members, including provisions related to the filling of vacancies and composition.

THAT , Council receives the Q2 2025 Departmental Updates report as information.

THAT , Council accept the resignation of Brenda Guiney as the Lanark Highlands representative to the Arnprior Public Library Board; AND THAT Council recommend that Garry Collier be appointed as the Lanark Highlands representative to the Arnprior Public Library Board; AND THAT the Clerk notify the Town of Arnprior and the Arnprior Public Library Board of this recommendation; AND FURTHER THAT , this motion and the associated by-law be brought forward for consideration at the Council meeting on 12 August 2025.

THAT , Council declare a portion of unopened road allowance located between Concessions 4 and 5 Geographic Township of Dalhousie and designated as Part 3 on Plan 27R6739, as surplus lands; AND THAT, Council direct staff to proceed with the road closing procedure for the said portion of unopened road allowance.

THAT , Report No. CAO-2025-15 be received as information.

THAT , this matter be deferred to a future meeting.

THAT , the Council Committee Appointment Updates (verbal) be received as information.

THAT, the CAO Update (verbal) be received as information.

THAT , Council approve the Social Media Policy, as presented in Appendix A to staff report COR-2025-40.
