THAT, the agenda be adopted as presented.

THAT , the Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of September 9th, 2025, be approved as circulated.

THAT , the communications dated September 23, 2025 be received as information.

THAT , the Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands supports consent applications B25-063 (Stead) subject to the Township’s conditions of consent listed in Appendix E .

THAT , the Council Committee Appointment Updates (verbal) be received as information.

THAT , the CAO Update (verbal) be received as information.

THAT , the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourn at 7:24 p.m.

THAT, Council support the Township’s application to the Rural Ontario Development (ROD) Program to partially fund the development of an Economic Development Strategy in 2026; AND THAT, Council commit to allocating $25,000 for the project within the 2026 budget; AND FURTHER THAT, this motion be brought forward for consideration at the Council meeting on 23 September 2025.

THAT, Council direct staff to initiate recruitment for a full-time Chief Building Official. AND THAT, this motion be brought forward for consideration at the Council meeting on 23 September 2025. AND THAT, Staff be directed to explore opportunities for shared services with neighbouring municipalities related to the Chief Building Official function and report back to Council with options.
