THAT, the communications dated December 11th, 2023, be received as information.

THAT , Council supports consent application B20-122 (Lanthier/Cabana) subject to the Township’s conditions of consent listed in Appendix D.

THAT , the Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands accept the report titled Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO) for information purposes; AND THAT, Council approve the draft Asset Retirement Obligations policy; AND FURTHER THAT, Council forward the Asset Retirement Obligation Policy By-law with Schedule A to the preceding Council meeting of December 11, 2023 for approval.

THAT , Councillor Closs be appointed as the Council Representative for the Lanark County Traffic Advisory Working Group.

THAT , Council receive the Beyond the Boards Kids Skating Program report as information; AND THAT , staff bring forward a report regarding a kids skating program next fall for the 2024-2025 season.

THAT , Council accept report WST-2023-07 regarding the implemented Waste Master Plan recommendations for information; AND THAT , Council directs staff to proceed with the Mattress Recycling Program and amend the current tipping fees to $45/unit on the Township Website and By-Law 2002-378 Schedule ‘A’.

THAT , the Council Committee Appointment Updates (verbal) be received as information.
