THAT, the agenda be adopted as presented.

THAT, the communications dated 8 October be received as information.

THAT , Council accepts Report BLD-2024-03, 3rd Quarter Building Report for 2024, as information.

THAT, Council agrees to provide a Motion of Support, attached to Report CA-2024-06, for the 2025 application submitted by Lanark Highlands Ball to the Field of Dreams funding program provided by the Jays Care Foundation, for the further development of the Clyde Memorial Baseball Diamond. AND THAT , this matter be brought to the Council meeting of 22 October 2024 , to ensure Lanark Highlands Ball can submit an application prior to the 31 October 202 4 deadline.

THAT , Council direct staff to notify the Group Purchasers that the Township’s Procurement Policy endorses group purchasing; AND THAT , staff post the 14-day Notice of Intent; AND FURTHER THAT , this matter be brought to the Council meeting of 22 October 2024 in order for the 14-day notice to be posted to allow staff to proceed with utilizing the group purchasing option for the 2024 budget year purchases.

THAT , Council authorize staff to extend the Waste Curb Side Collection Services in Lanark Village to Emterra Environmental for a price of $53,496.67 (includes Non-Recoverable HST) as outlined in Report WST-2024-14.

THAT , Council accept Report RDS-2024-17, 3rd Quarter Public Works Update for 2024, as information.

THAT , Council receive the update for the Sheridan Rapids Bridges Replacement Project as information.

THAT, the Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands prioritize the Watson's Corners Community Hall for Stream 1 funding, and direct staff to proceed with the submission to the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF), recognizing that the Township is responsible for providing the 50% matching funds for the eligible project costs, in accordance with the cost-sharing requirements of the CSRIF program. AND FURTHER THAT , this matter be brought to the Council meeting of 22 October 2024 in order to ensure the application is submitted prior to the 31 October 2024 deadline.

THAT , the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourn at 7:43 p.m.

THAT, Council authorize the award of a sole-source contract to Norwood and Co. for the repair of the dugouts at Clyde Park Memorial Diamond, in the amount of $36,000. AND FURTHER THAT, this matter be brought to the Council meeting of 22 October 2024 for decision.
