THAT, the agenda be adopted as amended.

THAT , the letter of request from the Lanark Highlands Frosty Fling Winter Carnival Organizing Committee for a donation to the 2024 Frosty Fling Winter Carnival in the amount of $1,000 be approved.

THAT, the communications dated February 13th, 2024, be received as information.

THAT , Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands commits to providing the Highlands North Network 20% of the net annual cost of maintaining and operating the SALC program, in-kind, for the 2024-2025 application; AND THAT, Staff are directed to submit an application, based on the Highlands North Network programming draft budget, to the Seniors Active Living Centres Program funding opportunity on behalf of the Highlands North Network; AND THAT , staff are authorized to enter into a funding agreement with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for the SALC program; AND THAT , staff are authorized to enter into an agreement with Highlands North Network for the administration of the grant funding; AND FURTHER THAT , this matter be brought to the Council meeting of February 13, 2024, to ensure an application is submitted prior to the February 15, 2024 deadline.

THAT , Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands approve the Terms of Reference as presented in report CA-2024-03, for the Lanark County OPP Detachment Board; AND THAT , Councillor Closs be appointed as the Council Representative to the OPP Detachment Board.

THAT , Council authorize staff to proceed with the planned tenders as outlined in Report RDS-2024-02, and report back with individual recommendations for award and inclusion in the proposed 2024 budget; AND THAT, this matter be brought to the Council Meeting of February 13, 2024, to advance with the tenders, advertisements, submissions, and recommended awards.
