THAT, the agenda be adopted as presented.

THAT , the communications dated May 28th, 2024, be received as information.

THAT , Council passes the necessary By-law to approve Zoning By-Law Amendment ZA-2024-04 (Smith) for a portion of the lands described as Part of Lot 26, Concession 5, Reference Plan 26R-1869, Parts 6-10, geographic Township of Dalhousie, locally known as 132 Black Creek Road, from the “Rural (RU)” Zone to the “Rural – Exception (RU-41) Zone.

THAT , the Council Committee Appointment Updates (verbal) be received as information.

THAT , the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourn at 6:27 p.m.

THAT, the Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of May 14th, 2024, be approved as circulated.

THAT, Council accept this report and update to the Land Use Permit for the Snye Road Waste Site for an approved 5-year term as information, AND THAT, Council direct staff to proceed with the application to purchase the site from the MNR with the understanding of reporting back to Council.

THAT, Council authorize staff to award the ‘2024 Tender for Sidewalk Repairs’ to Royal Crown Construction for the areas and costs as outlined in Report RDS-2024-08 as follows: TOWNSHIP OF LANARK HIGHLANDS COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MINUTES May 28th, 2024 North Street for the bid price of $7,921 (including non-recoverable HST), Galbraith Road for the bid price of $50,182 (including non- recoverable HST), Mill Road for the bid price of $21,727 (including non-recoverable HST), South Street (Option 1) for the bid price of $130,190 (including non-recoverable HST); AND THAT, The Manager of Public Works is authorized to issue any and all change orders as required to prevent delays and claims against the Township; AND FURTHER THAT, this matter be brought to the Council meeting of May 28, 2024, in order to proceed with the sidewalk project.
