Committee of the Whole

THAT , the Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of May 24th, 2022, be approved as circulated.

THAT , the Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands supports Tay Valley Township's resolution regarding Firefighter Certification; AND THAT , this resolution be forwarded to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, the Premier of Ontario, the Solicitor General, the Association of Fire Chiefs and all municipalities in Ontario.

THAT , Council passes a by-law to adopt the tax rates outlined in report FIN-2022-20; AND THAT , this matter is forwarded to the Council meeting of June 7, 2022 so the Township can enter the rates in to the Online Property Tax Analysis website as soon as possible.

THAT , Council approve the purchase and installation of Munisoft Software, as well as the conversion from Great Plains to Munisoft of current data at the price of $44,646 excluding HST; AND THAT, Council approve staff to purchase additional add-ons from Munisoft modules up to a maximum of $5,000 of which $3,750 is funded from the Province and $1,250 would be funded from reserves.

THAT , the Organizational Review Report be received as information.

THAT , Council authorize staff to administer the addition of required culverts and provisional items for the PW Tender 2022-02 for an anticipated cost of $43,560 (excluding HST), as identified in Report RDS-2022-12; AND FURTHER THAT , this matter be brought to the Council meeting of June 7, 2022, to finalize the motion and proceed with the project.
